Styles of Chickasaw Country: Hazel's Fashion Wagon

Hi friends! Katie here.

One thing you should know about me is my deep love for finding cute clothes and sharing that love with others. Ask me where I got my shoes, and I will tell you in detail where I got them, how much they were and how much you need them, too.

I call this being a great saleswoman; my friends would tell you this is the power of persuasion. Either way, you need to get that pair of shoes because if anyone can rock them, it’s you! And they’ll look great for that special event you have coming up.

See what I did there?

So when I walked into Hazel’s Fashion Wagon, I knew I was right at home. My feelings could have been from the walls lined with the cutest western apparel or it could have been smell of freshly cleaned clothes (they’re attached to a dry cleaner, which is a great idea). Or maybe it was the friendly greeting from Linda and Darcy, the owners of the shop. Either way, I was in my element.

Growing up attending livestock shows, I was always on the hunt for the latest western chic apparel. Basically, shopping at Hazel’s was like reliving high school, but in a good way. I had the upper hand and was one of the cool kids now. Hazel’s Fashion Wagon is known for their graphic western t-shirts. I can totally see these shirts being paired with a cute fringe vest, a dark washed jean, boot cut or skinny, and worn with boots. Hello perfect outfit for a concert or one of the many rodeos in Chickasaw Country.

If western chic doesn’t happen to be your thing, that’s okay. They have the classics, too. You’ll be able to find dresses and tops that can be worn out for a night on the town or a summer wedding in the middle of July that will be blazing hot. And don’t get me started on the accessories. I fell in love with these clutches.

I also fell in love with a lot of other pieces and a quick press of the play button can give you a glimpse of all the selection Hazel’s has to offer.

As you could probably see, it was incredible self-control for me to walk away with only two items. I feel like I should reward myself with another shopping trip, but that may defeat the purpose of my extraordinary self-control.

I hope if you’re ever in Purcell you’ll swing by Hazel’s Fashion Wagon and pick up a few goodies of your own. If you do, and I hope you do because you need some Hazel’s Fashion Wagon in your life, tell them Katie from Chickasaw Country sent you!

See ya,

Katie
