There is a great range in geography in the area. From flat plains to the rolling hills of the Arbuckle mountain region Chickasaw Country has something for everyone. Shoreline information- how many miles/acres of shoreline.

It depends on what activities you are looking to enjoy! Summers can be quite hot, which could be taxing for hiking, but lends itself to a great time at one of our many lakes. Winter weather at times can be unpredictable, so take precautions when planning outdoor activities.

However, many cultural, gaming, and shopping activities are perfect for year-round visits!

Because the region is spread out and quite rural in places, car is most effective for travel around Chickasaw Country. Chickasaw Country is beautiful for motorcycle travel. The Heartland Flyer train also runs from Oklahoma City to Ft. Worth, with stops in Chickasaw Country.
