Daredevil Vacation

Do you want a thrilling vacation? We can make that happen with a heart-pounding trip on the 777 Zipline near Turner Falls. If ziplines aren’t your thing, rent a sailboat or a kayak from Lake Murray Water Sports and take a trip around the lake. Or, take to the water with  Water Wings at Lake Texoma. You can fly high in the air using a hydro-flight jet pack! For those looking to stay dry, have fun at Cross Bar Ranch in Davis offering hours of fun on ATVs. Early spring through the end of summer is the best time to visit these locations.

Spa Weekend

Is your dream vacation relaxing by the pool and drinking wine? We feel ya! Chickasaw Country is no stranger to spas, cute boutiques, golf clubs and wineries. We recommend taking a trip to Sulphur, Oklahoma. The historic Artesian Hotel in downtown Sulphur has a beautiful spa, pool, and of course, luxurious hotel rooms. If you want to stay somewhere that isn’t a hotel, the Echo Canyon Spa Resort is just down the road from the Artesian. They also have a beautiful spa area, restaurant and pool. While you’re at it, don’t forget to shop at the cute boutiques on historic Muskogee Street in downtown Sulphur. The Rusty Nail Winery is a great place to wind down after a day of shopping and spa treatments.

You can take a day trip or a full-on vacation with your kids to Chickasaw Country to make memories that will last a lifetime. Let the kids run off steam at Urban Air Adventure Park in Ardmore. They will also have tons of fun at Lazer Zone Family Fun Centerin Ada for laser tag, bowling and play arcade games. If you want to have a more relaxing time, head over to the Toy and Action Figure Museum in Pauls Valley or the Chickasaw Cultural Center in Sulphur. Foodie Festivals

Do you love a summer festival? Same! Chickasaw Country is home to many unique food festivals throughout the summer months including the Rush Springs Watermelon Festival, the Stratford Peach Festival, and the Tuttle Ice Cream Festival. Take a long weekend, rent a cabin, and attend one of these unique festivals. My suggestions – drink lots of water, wear sunscreen, bring cash, an ice chest for all the food you will buy and take lots of pictures!

Holiday Fun

Holiday celebrations never get old! Make each holiday even better by taking off a few extra days for a mini vaca! Spend the 4thof July on a boat at Lake Texoma, at a parade in Tishomingo, or at the fireworks in Blanchard. End the year with a Christmas vacation (not like the Griswold family) at the Artesian Hotel’s Classic Christmas in Sulphur, or the Chickasha Festival of Light in Chickasha. Take off a few extra days to stay in the area and do a little Christmas shopping
