I get it. After the holidays, the months just seem to fly by and you never get the chance to kick up your feet and enjoy the days. Take my advice, take some much needed “me time.” The phone is turned off, no worries in the world, do whatever you want, me time. 

To help get your wheels turning on where you should spend your day playing hooky, I’ve compiled a list of five spots that will be great for you to R-E-L-A-X.

1. Spa 211 in Tishomingo

2. Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur
Whether you’re an expert hiker, just enjoy a nice picnic outdoors, or anything in between, the Chickasaw National Recreation Area will help you become one with nature, or it could simply be the perfect backdrop for a weekend trip.

3. Falconhead Resort and Country Club in Burneyville
Fore! Most people don’t know that Chickasaw Country has over 20 golf courses. One you should put on your list to visit is Falconhead Resort and Country Club, which features an 18-hole golf course.

4. Lake Murray Riding Stables in Ardmore
Yee-haw! Cowboy boots are a must at the Lake Murray Riding Stables. Not only is horseback riding relaxing, the scenery at the breathtaking Lake Murray area makes the ride even better.

5. Rusty Nail Winery in Sulphur
If you love a good glass of wine, Rusty Nail Winery is right up your alley. With over 20 different kinds of wines, painting classes, shopping and more, an afternoon or a whole day could be spent in this picturesque spot.
