It's beginning to look at lot like fall!
Cooler weather, vests, boots, pumpkin-flavored everything, football season— man, oh man, I could go on for days about why fall is my hands-down favorite season!
I’ve been a fall lover since the beginning. Being born in the month of October, I have a strong love for this time of year. Even as a tiny tot, I refused to eat any dessert other than pumpkin pie—my mom, dad, grandma (basically anyone in sight) had to whip up a pumpkin pie for me at the drop of a hat, even if it was the dead of summer.
With all of that being said, it puts a massive smile on my face when the leaves begin to change, and it’s time for fall activities. From arts and crafts fairs to fall festivals and pumpkin patches, there’s plenty to do here in Chickasaw Country! You can learn more about events this season using this link.
One place I’m excited to tell you about is a little off the beaten path in the town of Chickasha. Reding Farm, a family-owned and operated facility, features a corn maze, haunted maze, cow train, farm animals, live music and much more!
Each year, owners Nancy and Jerry choose a different theme for their 38-acre maze. What’s this year’s theme, you ask? Why it’s bedlam football!
Now, I could go on and on about how great Reding Farm is, but why not watch for yourself and see how my time at the farm was?
See, didn’t I tell you this place had it all? I’m not going to lie, the maze was one of my favorite parts, but I would keep going back just for the Dairy-Go-Round.
After all of that, I think it’s sufficient to say that you should grab your vest and flannel shirt and head on out to Chickasaw Country for your next great fall adventure!
