Styles of Chickasaw Country: Handmade Home Interiors
As you all know, I’ve been traveling around Chickasaw Country during the Flavors of Chickasaw Country series finding restaurants you all should try. (If you haven’t tried any of them yet, make your weekend road trip plans now.) However, it dawned on me that we were missing something…a shopping video series!
With that, I’m happy to present the kickoff of our Styles of Chickasaw Country series (psst, follow along with #StylesofCC on social media). Our first stop took me to Main Street in Ada to a chic home décor store called The Rustic Ridge.
While I was at The Rustic Ridge, I met the owner Donnette. To say that Donnette is a talented woman is an understatement. She creates approximately 90% of the items in her store! That’s pretty amazing, right? From woodcarvings, furniture, paintings and more, she’s got it all.
Click play to see what Donnette has to say about her shop and why you should visit it.
Now if that isn’t the cutest store, I don’t know what is! I loved spending the day with Donnette and her family and seeing the magic behind all of her one-of-a-kind pieces.
If you’re looking for a great holiday gift this season, make sure you check out The Rustic Ridge or any of the other stores featured in our Styles of Chickasaw Country series. Some of my favorite creations are Donnette’s homemade coasters and light fixtures. (Those coasters would make the perfect stocking stuffer…just saying.)
Stay tuned for our next video featuring Sumac Trading Co., coming out in December!
