Established in 1906, Tuttle developed as an agricultural community and was named after a local pioneer rancher and Choctaw by marriage, James H. Tuttle. This old Chisholm Trail town is located in a low-lying river basin along the South Canadian River about thirty minutes southwest of Oklahoma City, at the junction of State Highway 37 and 92. It is part of the rapidly developing Tri-City area, along with its neighbors, Newcastle and Blanchard. Boasting the best of three worlds, this trifecta of towns offers visitors a chain of small town charms with a convenient channel to an uber urban scene - that of O-K-C. And, as you see painted across the water tower, Tuttle is also the home to Jason White, the former Heisman trophy-winning quarterback for the University of Oklahoma Sooners in 2003.

The farm includes a state-of-the-art processing plant, private dairy herd, milk barn, bakery and more. Take a free guided tour of the Braum’s Processing Plant and Bakery and experience the “magic” behind the milk! Tour guests not only get the opportunity to watch as they make ice cream, ice cream cones, cookies and milk, but also get free samples of freshly-made Braum's Ice Cream!
If you really dig the Braum's Family Farm, be sure mark your calendars for the Annual Tuttle Ice Cream Festival in May! This lickity split festival of fun features live entertainment, kid's activities, vendor booths, a classic car show, homemade ice cream contest, ice cream princess pageant and all the Braum’s Ice Cream you can eat!
