Have you ever wanted to know what it is like to sleep above Golden Tabby Tigers, Grizzly and Black bears, or Hyenas? Now you can! These are the only treehouses of their kind in Oklahoma and the closest you'll get to the animals. The Tiger Overlook treehouses are available. They sit back 50 feet from the enclosure and are elevated over 20 feet up. There are four unique units to choose from. These treehouses are perfect for those who don't mind "roughing it" for a night. Think of it as glamorous camping at a zoo, as the bathrooms are across the parking lot. Treehouses offer beautiful views of the zoo and surrounding land, as well as a great experience listening to the lions roar back and forth across the park.
Primitive camping is also offered in the Tiger Overlook Treehouses. The nearby Safari Huts offer an authentic African Village named Shi-Awela Safari Village, meaning "a peaceful place of rest." Choose between three African safari huts with a fireplace, heat and air, a queen-sized bed, big screen TV with Blu-ray player, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. You can also stay in a yurt bell tent or bush hut.
The African Manor takes relaxing in nature to a new level. The double Jacuzzi tub gives a romantic atmosphere, and the upstairs loft complete with games is handy if you bring the kids along. It's also equipped with a small kitchenette with a stove top, coffee maker, microwave, and there's also a gas grill and fire pit on the porch.
