In 1922, Mrs. Hazelle Field was baking pecan pies in her kitchen for the restaurant her husband owned in Downtown Pauls Valley. Today, her pure, natural and sweet recipe is still used to make 3 million pies a year, delivered to 23 states across the southwest of the US. Generations of Fields work together at the Field's Pecan Pie Factory to make the famous Oklahoman dessert. The factory consists of 13,500 square feet of complex machinery and a 100 foot oven.
The factory also produces German Chocolate, Lemon Chess and Pumpkin pies, but the Pecan makes up 85% of their sales. All pies have no preservatives or additives and are frozen fresh from the oven, ready to be thawed and devoured. You can also purchase their pies right in the Field's Pies Thrift Shop along with native pecans, pie crusts and pie dough.
