Fun with History in Davis! Head to the Arbuckle Historical Society Museum in Davis for a exciting, educational experience. This refurbished 1907 Santa Fe Depot features the history of Davis, Murray County, Turner Falls Park and early day families. Native American exhibits with original beaded clothing items donated by the family of Nelson Chigley are on display, along other artifacts including a loom dating back to 1850, military exhibits, vintage clothing, a large file of family histories, a territorial room displaying home life in pre-statehood days, and more. The depot is also listed on the National Registration of Historic Places, so don't miss out on this historical treasure!

The museum is located by the railroad tracks in downtown Davis. The Sulphur branch of the Arbuckle Historical Society of Murray County also has a museum located just a few blocks west of The Artesian Hotel, Casino & Spa, next to the Jean Carr Gallery and across the street from the Flower Bluff Mansion Steakhouse.
