The Chickasaw Nation Welcome Center is located at the southwest corner of exit 55 along Interstate 35. The Chickasaw Nation Welcome Center offers several amenities, including a lounge area, a gift shop featuring Pendleton and Made-In-Oklahoma products, an outdoor children’s playground, a dog park, two electric vehicle charging stations and Bedré Fine Chocolate right next door. The Chickasaw Nation Welcome Center also sells hunting and fishing licenses, required by the State of Oklahoma for recreational hunting and fishing.

The Welcome Center provides travel information about Chickasaw Country in addition to the state of Oklahoma through trained team members, informational kiosks, and printed brochures highlighting recreational, historic, cultural tourism destinations. The 5,500-square-foot Welcome Center features original Chickasaw and other First American artwork as well as Made in Oklahoma retail items and gift items. The displayed artwork in the facility rotates throughout the year and some of the artwork is on sale while others are used as interior decoration. The facility grounds offer a children’s playground area, indoor lounge area, public restrooms, dog park, coffee service, penny press machine, vending machines and RV/Bus parking!
The Welcome Center also serves as a convenient gateway for many attractions in the area including the Chickasaw Visitor Center, Chickasaw Cultural Center, Chickasaw National Recreation Area, Chickasaw Retreat & Conference Center, ARTesian Gallery & Studios and Artesian Hotel, Casino & Spa.
