The Chuckwagon BBQ and Grill that offers much more

Located in the home town of Joe Diffee, (admit it, you’re pretending you’re Jason Aldean singing “Hey, Joe Diffie!” after I said that…) the Chuckwagon BBQ and Grill in Velma isn’t just your typical barbecue joint in Chickasaw Country.

First things first, let’s chat about the atmosphere of the restaurant. The Chuckwagon is a mixture of a 1950s diner meets country-chic. The big red booths and chairs invite you to this off-the-beaten-path community and makes you feel part of the town.

Now the part you’ve all been waiting for – the food! From the barbecue (which was oh-so-hard to turn down) to the Mexican food (this was even harder because the Mexican Pie was calling my name), the Chuckwagon’s menu has something for everyone.

Of course, when it came down to making a decision on ordering, I had to go with the special of the day.

After not so patiently waiting (because my stomach was growling), my meal arrived. Chicken fried steak, macaroni and cheese and green beans showed up at my table at just the right moment.

Make sure you swing by the Chuckwagon BBQ & Grill. I’m already craving that chicken fried steak meal again just thinking about it.
