Located near Lake Texoma in Kingston, OK, our next Flavors of Chickasaw Country stop is BG’s Catch. BG’s Catch was opened shortly after the owner, Bruce Green, graduated from college and has since turned into a booming business. Open only Thursday - Saturday, Bruce and his team cook up a mean batch of catfish and fixin’s.
Man, oh man. What I wouldn’t do for those corn fritters and a piece (or two, or three) of that catfish right about now!
When you make the trip out to BG’s, save some room for their famous apple crisp and homemade vanilla ice cream. The word on the street is that both recipes came from Bruce’s family.
