Peach Cobbler Cookies the On the Go Dessert
Peaches, peaches and more peaches! In case you were wondering, that’s how I spent last Saturday at the annual Stratford Peach Festival.
After picking up some peaches (did I mention they’re the best you’ve ever tasted?) I had to decide what I would make with these sweet treats. Would they turn into a salsa, a jelly or even a good ol’ peach pie? After much deliberation, I decided to use them to make peach cobbler cookies.
Once I had gathered all of the necessary ingredients, it was time to start baking!
After melting the butter in a microwave-safe bowl, I added in two containers of Greek peach yogurt.
Next came the vanilla, sugar, baking soda and salt.
Then I added three cups of flour, and it was time to mix, mix, mix.
After prepping the dough, it was time for the best part – the peaches! After peeling and finely chopping the peaches, they were mixed into the dough.
I portioned them out, and then it was time to wait. I’ll admit I’m not a patient person, especially if there is a sweet treat waiting for me.
Finally, the buzzer dinged, and it was time to get these puppies out of the oven! I had created delicious peach cobbler cookies.
Pardon me as I chow down on these delicious cookies for the next few days. If you’re curious to try this recipe yourself, I found this recipe here. You can find this recipe and more on our Peach Recipes Pinterest Board!
