Flavors of Chickasaw Country: Rodney’s Pizza Place
Pizza. One of my first true loves. I grew up watching the Ninja Turtles movies and seeing them chow down on an ooey gooey slice always made me hungry for one. Now that I’m an adult, not much has changed. I could still devour a slice (or two or three) of pizza regularly.
With all that being said, you won’t be shocked to learn that the next Flavors of Chickasaw Country stop brought me to Rodney’s Pizza Place in Purcell.
Now I know what you’re thinking, what’s so special about a pizza place? Well, you’ll be happy to learn that not only does Rodney serve up the originals: pepperoni, sausage, etc., but he also whips up baked potato, taco and many other specialty slices.
Rodney’s Pizza Place is a local joint that’s been serving up pizza for years, and after you meet the owner, Rodney Powers, you’ll feel like you’re part of the family. On that note, it’s time to cue up the video…
Man alive—after watching that video again, I think it’s time for me to take a road trip! And, did you see my pizza dough tossing skills? Not too shabby if I say so myself.
Thanks again for reading and watching along on this stop. Stay tuned for my next Flavors of Chickasaw Country visit! (Hint: you’re in for a sweet treat.)
