Field's Pecan Pies are Perfect for the Holidays

When you think of holiday desserts, which ones come to mind? If you thought about pecan pie, then we are thinking alike!

Did you know pecan pie is the dessert of Oklahoma’s official state meal? And what is more Oklahoman than a pecan pie from Field’s Pies?

Field’s pies began in a small restaurant in Pauls Valley called Field’s Tavern. The Tavern, a filling station and cottages, were managed by two brothers Lee and Julian Field. The Fields’ wives baked for the restaurant – both pies and cakes. The desserts became so popular, they bought a delivery truck, then a pie plant and eventually opened the current plant where approximately 20,000 pies are made daily.

While visiting Chickasaw Country, plan a stop at the Field’s Pecan Pie Factory in Pauls Valley to visit their retail shop were you can purchase a variety of pies.

Field’s pies are also available in the frozen section of grocery stores and chain department stores in 23 states across southwest United States.

You can have a Field’s Pecan Pie in the comfort of your home this holiday season.
