Brickfest in Pauls Valley
The Brickfest Festival in Pauls Valley is always a fun time!
At the end of a brick road (fitting, right?) I found the Santa Fe Depot Area, lined with vendor booths beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday, and they didn’t close up shop until late Saturday.
Vendor Booths? Yes! So many of them! I’m not sure what you fancy regarding vendor booths, but Brickfest had clothing, crafts, and some with food.
Throughout the two-day event, acts lined the stage bringing the small town a rhythm sure to get your toes tappin’. Mine were, that’s for sure.
For a split second, I wished I was an aunt on Saturday. This event was ringing-affirmative and family-friendly, and I didn’t have any kids tagging along to enjoy it! Dunk tanks, Hot Wheels Double-Dog Dare Derby, Fields Pie-Eating Contest, Brick Toss and that’s just the start of it.
These activities are nested in the cutest little town in Chickasaw Country. Just doesn’t seem right. It’s just too much adorableness for their own good.
Oh, this? I just thought you wanted a close-up.
If you missed Brickfest, from the bottom of my heart, I apologize. It was a great time! However, don’t wait an entire year before you visit Pauls Valley. This town is as cute as a button, and from what I hear these days, buttons are quite the hot commodity.
