Great New Places to See in Chickasaw Country
New businesses are popping up in Chickasaw Country all the time! I recently stumbled upon a restaurant, a laser tag facility and a live performance venue that you all should check out soon. Here’s what I found out about these three places:
Located in Ardmore, this ice cream parlor and restaurant opened mid-December and has been jam-packed ever since.
If you’ve got a sweet tooth, this is the perfect spot for you! From homemade baked goods to over 50 flavors of ice cream, they’ve got something for everyone (trust me, it was hard to resist ordering a bite of everything). Their salad bar, sandwiches and soups make this the perfect lunch spot.
Zippety’s Lazer World
Kapow! Boom! Zip! A great family friendly venue that just opened in Chickasha is called Zippety’s Lazer World. From birthday parties to a fun weekend activity, Zippety’s is a great spot for a family outing!
Did I mention they also have a mechanical bull, pool tables and arcade games? Oh yeah!
The Pickin’ Parlor
“Get down the fiddle and get down the bow!” The Pickin’ Parlor, a Nashville style live performance venue just opened Dec. 8. in Tishomingo.
With live music every Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m., this venue is family friendly and is the perfect spot for a toe-tapping, hand-clapping good time!
