Back to School Fun
When you are a kid, you love summer a lot more than you do as an adult and that's because … no school! But, summer is quickly coming to an end. School is back in session, the days aren’t as long, and the weather (cross your fingers) will soon be turning cooler. Even though all of this is true, I don’t think that the summer fun has to end! Let’s say goodbye to summer the right way.
Below is a list of the top five places in Chickasaw Country you must visit to send summer out in style.
Okay, if you’re ready for some serious fun, this is the place for you! The 777 Zipline at Turner Falls is a 1,444-ft. viewing of Oklahoma’s tallest waterfall, Turner Falls. The zipline can sit two people and is a perfect for a fun day at Turner Falls. While you’re in the area don’t forget to grab a fried pie at Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pies.
Lazer Zone Family Fun Center – Ada
Lazer tag, black light bowling, 3D black light mini-golf, a batting cage, and an arcade! What more could you want? Lazer Zone also has great packages so your family fun day will also be affordable. While you’re in Ada, also check out the McSwain Theatre for music and movies on the weekends.
Urban Air Adventure Park – Ardmore
You’ll be jumping for fun (literally) at Urban Air Adventure Park in Ardmore. It’s perfect for all ages with wall-to-wall trampoline arenas, a slam dunk track, dodgeball area, and a ropes course. After jumping, go for a picnic at Lake Murray State Park.
Toy and Action Figure Museum – Pauls Valley
Yes, the name has museum in it, but this place is far from a stuffy, old museum. This place has memorabilia from every superhero you can think of including action figures and displays. You’ll leave feeling super! While you’re exploring Pauls Valley, walk a few blocks down the street to the Santa Fe Depot Museum for a fun experience learning about trains.
